Privacy Policy
Who we are
Quranweb (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides one-to-one online Quran classes, including Quran reading, Tajwīd, Hifz, Arabic and Islamic studies. Our website address is quranweb.net. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect and why
When you book a free trial or send us a message through our contact or booking forms, we ask for information such as your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, country, the age of the student, who the class is for, your preferred program and schedule, and any message you choose to add. Some fields are optional. We use this information only to:
- respond to your enquiry and arrange your free trial classes;
- prepare for and deliver your lessons, including matching you with a suitable teacher;
- contact you about your booking, classes, or account by email, WhatsApp, or phone;
- keep basic records for invoicing once you continue on a paid plan.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We do not currently use advertising trackers, and we do not run payment card transactions through this website — fees are agreed and arranged directly with your teacher after your trial classes.
Where your information is stored
Form submissions are stored securely within our website’s admin area, accessible only to our team, and a copy is sent by email so we can reply promptly even if you don’t hear back from the site itself. We keep this information for as long as reasonably needed to support your enquiry or continued classes, and you can ask us to delete it at any time (see “Your rights” below).
Cookies
This site uses only the standard technical cookies WordPress itself relies on to function (for example, to keep our team’s login session working when we manage the site). We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy.
Children’s privacy
Many of our students are children learning with a parent or guardian’s involvement. When you book a class for a child, you are confirming that you are their parent or guardian, or otherwise authorised to provide their information to us on their behalf. We collect only what’s needed to arrange and deliver lessons, and parents are always welcome to sit in on any class.
Third parties
We use standard website hosting and email delivery services to run this site and respond to enquiries. We may also correspond with you over WhatsApp or Skype if you choose to contact us that way; those services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. To do so, email us at info@quranweb.net or message us on WhatsApp, and we’ll action your request promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our website or services change. The version published here is always the current one.
