Actions after completion Hajj

The fifth of the five pillars on which Islam is based is the Hajj. However, the provisions of Hajj are completely different from prayer and fasting. Because, it is not obligatory on a Muslim every day or every year; Rather, it is obligatory only once in a lifetime. The purpose of Hajj not only ends with the activities of visiting the holy city of Makkah and traveling to perform its rituals, but there is also a special way of life for them after Hajj.

Life after Hajj will depend on Tawheed. Any work after Hajj which has the least relationship of partnership with Him is permissible. Allah says-

وَأَذَانٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ إِلَى النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْحَجِّ الْأَكْبَرِ أَنَّ اللَّهَ بَرِيءٌ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ ۙ وَرَسُولُهُ ۚ فَإِن تُبْتُمْ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ ۖ وَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِي اللَّهِ

“And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger, to the people (assembled) on the day of the Great Pilgrimage,- that Allah and His Messenger dissolve (treaty) obligations with the Pagans. If then, ye repent, it were best for you; but if ye turn away, know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah.”

Surah At- Taubah Ayah 3

Islamic scholars say that the person performing Hajj continues his good deeds in the life after Hajj. Abstains from sinful acts. Increasing participation in good deeds in society after Hajj. Continue to strive relentlessly in a global way to combat injustice. Just as you will refrain from wrongdoing, try to protect others from wrongdoing.

They performed this worship physically and financially with great difficulty. For them, Almighty Allah sent down the verses with instructions and guidance to do after Hajj. What does Almighty Allah say to them in this verse? Allah the Exalted in the Holy Qur’an declares to the Hajj pilgrims what they should do for the rest of their lives:

فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُم مَّنَاسِكَكُمْ فَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَذِكْرِكُمْ آبَاءَكُمْ أَوْ أَشَدَّ ذِكْرًا ۗ فَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَاقٍ

“So when ye have accomplished your holy rites, celebrate the praises of Allah, as ye used to celebrate the praises of your fathers,- yea, with far more Heart and soul. There are men who say: “Our Lord! Give us (Thy bounties) in this world!” but they will have no portion in the Hereafter.”

Surah Al-Baqara, Ayah 200

Signs of acceptance of Hajj:- Those who are accepted for Hajj, their lives and actions change. Interest in refraining from sin in the future increases. People are more willing to obey Allah. After performing Hajj, there is no doubt that the Hajj will be accepted for those who have not changed their life.

Finally, the bottom line is that if Hajj Mabrur is get, the person performing Hajj becomes innocent like a newborn baby. Therefore, it is very important for a person who performs Hajj to remember Allah more and more in all worldly activities to keep himself innocent and free from blemishes in the life after Hajj. All types of worship in Islam, including Hajj, and obeying Allah’s commandments are essential for attaining the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala. By praying, I pray; It is also important to refrain from using Haji etc. May Allah Ta’ala protect the Muslim Ummah from public worship. Grant me Tawfiq to conduct my life and worship in the way of Allah after Hajj. Amen.
